Our founder

My name is Mohamad Alassar and I came to the Netherlands in 2015.  Since my arrival, I have dreamed of restarting my construction business. My goal is to economically empower newcomers and provide them with suitable work. In doing so, I will not only support my family but also other my community.

My aspiration to start a business in maintenance and renovation comes from my background as an engineer and contractor in Syria. I had my own company for fifteen years in Syria, which was focused on industrial and civil projects. My past experience and success, therefore, made me choose the renovation business and keep it moving forward.

Last but not least,  I always welcome talented newcomers to join my team and together we can achieve a better life. Please feel free to contact me if you share the same goal.

  • Muneer

    I’m Muneer from Syria 37 years old. I came to the Netherlands in 2018, since that time I have wanted to enter construction work, based on my old experience in Syria as a craftsman. But I faced many problems to enter the working world of Netherlands with my language barrier and missing the certificates. Until I found AskPro, who gave me a chance to start in the field I enjoy the most. I improved my skills to adapt to the standards of Netherlands with a specialised team that I connect very well with.

  • Moustafa

    My name is Moustafa I came from Syria to the Netherlands in 2014. I am 54 years old and I am based out of Rotterdam. I have 25 years of experience as a plumber. Originally I had a hard time finding a job in the Netherlands as I wasn’t fluent in Dutch. AskPro gave me an opportunity to do plumbing work which is what I know best. This enabled me to build a better future for my children and my wife in this new country.

    My name is Ali, I came to the Netherlands in 2018. I worked as a carpenter in Syria for 30 years. Carpeting is not only a job for me but is also a hobby and a part of my life. Since I came to the Netherlands, I started studying dutch by taking lessons 3 days a week and thankfully AskPro has given me the flexibility to work around my studies. This has helped me integrate better into society .

    Hi, my name is Ahmad, but they call me Zaza. I came to the Netherlands in 2014 and I’ve worked as a painter for 30 years in Syria. When I came to the Netherlands I started a new chapter in my life as I was looking for a better and safe place for my children. But finding a job for me at my age was very hard. AskPro gave me the opportunity to work as a professional painter in 2018 and with this now I can do what I know best with greater confidence.

    My name Is Mahmoud, I came to the Netherlands in 2016. I had my own company for construction work in Syria before I moved here. But starting a new company here in the Netherlands was very challenging and there was a lot of admin/process work to get done. So I decided to work with AskPro as a builder, and this gave me the opportunity to be independent, learn more about the Netherlands and add value to my family, friends and wider community.

Our Certifications

  • Vocational Education Certification

    AskPro is certified to train up students and take them through internships that will prepare them for the Dutch labour market.

    We are fully accredited and more than enjoy passing down our necessary skills in order to contribute to wider society.

  • VCA Certification

    VCA stands for (in Dutch) Safety, Health and Environment Checklist for Contractors, but it is much more than that. VCA is a versatile and complete programme whereby service-supplying companies may be tested in a structured and objective manner, and certified for their VGM administration system. VGM (Dutch) stands for Safety (Veiligheid), Health (Gezondheid), Environment (Milieu).

    We are fully accredited and are aware of safety precautions that need to be taken and the additional levels of risk we operate while doing our jobs.

  • Construction All Risk Insurance

    AskPro is covered by Construction All Risk insurance. This covers against loss or damage to the contract works caused by: Accidental damage, natural perils, basement and substructure construction works, design errors (consequential damage only), testing and commissioning.

    Policies also cover legal liability for injury to third parties or damage to third party property.
